Time for an update...

Jonathan and I are training for a Half Ironman In Canada at the beginning of JUNE! It has been really hard getting all our workouts in with busy work schedules but we are getting it done. Time is passing by so fast it will be here in no time so we are super excited it will be so much fun.

BOISE!

October, November, and December we went to Boise to see family we carved pumpkins, built ginger bread houses and celebrated the holidays. This is just a cute picture of Amber and I, I had to help her carve her pumpkin. :)

Yes number 3! We got another puppy in February she has been so much fun. We got her really young so we have had to do all the puppy training, but no big deal because she is really smart. She already knows how to sit and she loves to eat she jumps in circles when its time.

3 dogs under the age of two ya its a little crazy around here but they are good pups. They keep house a little more lively.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JONATHAN!

Jonathan had a birthday in January. I made him a blueberry cheese cake that was amazing. We also went to some friends house and had dinner with them.


NEW FLOORING!

We just put in laminate flooring! It has been so easy to clean especially with dogs. Jonathan did such a good job putting it all together. He worked many days and it looks amazing!! We still have a little bit to go, we were going to keep the carpet but now we are just going to finish the whole thing with laminate.

SHE DID IT!

My sister has finally reached her weight loss goal of 89.4lbs. I just wanted to tell my sister how proud we are of her and that I think it is such a great accomplishment. I never imagined that I would be running a half marathlon with her in October, but a dream come true!!!

The Past Few Weeks

CDA DUATHLON
I finished my second duathlon. 3:07 total time I was pretty excited because I made it in around 3 hours. Good Job to everyone else that did it! As you can see in this picture I was really tired.

Jonathan and I went to a BBQ waterslide thing with his parents it looked like fun but we didnt go.

Brady Campbell took the Morton family pictures this year and this is just one that we thought turned out really good of us.

22nd Post Falls Duathlon

I did the Post Falls Duathlon this last week (my first race ever) and here are just some pictures that were taken by my fans. It was a 5k Run 18.6 miles Bike and another 5k run. I finished in 2:13:16, Leg 1 at 28:06, Leg 2 at 1:14:43, Leg 3 30:27... which put me in first place in my age group and 15th over all the solo females. It was a great day and a great experiance for me. I wasnt really trying to win anything I just went out strong and stayed solid the whole race and found out at the award ceremony that it was good enough for first place in the 20-24yrs old bracket. I am so glad Jonathan was there to cheer me on and all my fans. Thanks Guys!! More Photos to come but this is all I have for now.

Torque......Wreck!!!.... Bike

Jonathan wanted another dog for his birthday so we went looking around at more humane societies and online and found Torque he is a American Staffordshire Terrier. He is known as the cute one out of the two. Besides chewing on sticks and chairs and getting so scared he peed on the floor he is a pretty good boy!!

When you talk to torque he tilts his head really far most of the time it is sideways!Talk about begging.... they think they should get a bite of everything!Last snow fall wreck, I was giving a girl a right to the library because I am a nice person and some guy slide into the back of me and broke my tail light , my bumper, and a few more dings and scratches and who knows if this guy is going to take fault. We'll see it's kindof a crappy deal!!! damaged jeep!! :(

This is my new bike, I am going to be training on it all summer for my race, I road it today for the first time and it is so nice and smooth I cant wait to put more miles on this baby!

February Update

So from our last post tell now,,, Nicole had a birthday, We had christmas here, we drove to Boise in the snow to visit Nicoles Family, Happy New Years (we fell asleep before 12), We lost our camera, Nicole got a new job as a personal trainer, Jonathans Birthday, We got another dog (torque), Nicole decided to do the CDA triathlon in August, Jonathan got a new Truck, We found our camera, We helped our awesome friends move, and now its almost valentines day and Nicole's Parents are coming to visit for a day and a little bit. We have been so busy this last few months plus we lost the camera in the car for a month+ but I will get more pictures and a better update soon!!!

Most Snow in 24hrs since 1955

In our area we have gotten over 2ft of snow in the past 24 hours and it is still coming down. We have shoveled our driveway twice today and all the schools are closed, even the mall in the valley is closed. We love snow!! Christmas Tree!!

Right Before it got FREEZING outside we were able to go up into the mountains and cut down our Christmas tree its nothing like a tree farm tree but its the memories of cutting down our own that counts :)

This is our attack dog, ya right she is harmless all she wants to do is play and sleep and of course she thinks that she will catch her tail one of these days.

First Snow!!! 2008

It snowed a little bit today and we know this is only the beginning of a big winter again we can feel it. Let it snow Let it snow Let it snow!!! I (nicole) always shovel the driveway right when it snows down so I dont have a lot to do later, and by the end of the winter i am in pretty good shoveling snow shape but today it kicked my butt!

Gas Prices Way Low!!

We are so excited gas is going down more and more all the time!! Since this picture (taken last week) it has gone it has gone down to 1.64 at flying J!! How low will it go?

Change of Heart!!!

We had a change of heart and decided we should get a dog. Because my brother convinced me that pitbulls were awesome dogs and his dog is awesome we decided to do a little of the same. She is an American Pitbull Terrier she is four months old and very playful and obedient. We decided to name her Cylla because we wanted a girly name but a different name. So we welcome her to our family!!!

Jonathan's Project

We bought a 1980 VW Rabbit Convertable to fix up and hopefully drive around in the spring. The engine has some work and the interior but once we get it going it will be awesome!!!

Silverwood Theme Park!!

The last weekend Silverwood Theme Park was open, Us coaches and Jonathan took my U-12 girls soccer team to have a little fun. We went on most of the big roller coasters but their were a few that I am too much of a wimp to ride but Jonathan was a good sport and their are some girls on the team that are more brave than me thats for sure. Jonathan hasnt been to silverwood in a long time and it was my first time so we had a blast together.
